"How very unimaginative...." some may muse, concerning the title...my thought process proceeded as such:
'Upon debating a name for a blog, first determine the subject matter' ... well my blog centers around little old me: my lifestyle, my day to day activities and my passion for the written word... so nothing else encompasses my 'subject matter' better than my name, don't you think?
A couple of years ago I ran a previous blog under a different name which focused primarily on personal style and fashion. I was lucky enough to be featured in MORE! magazine and attend many exciting events...However, following a rather devastating event in my personal life, I made the tough decision to discontinue the blog owing to the fact that my focus was on my home and family life and I could not commit to my writing in the way I wanted to.
But I just couldn't stay away! The written word is my passion and blogging was a huge part of my life which I missed too much to stay away. So here we are - a brand new blog with a brand new title...and a brand new me.
Initially this started with the intent of covering beauty and wellbeing items (which I certainly aim to still include) however, my clear love of Gin immediately shone through and this has taken over the vast majority of this blog. So basically, if you love Gin, restaurants, bars, lifestyle, outdoor pursuits, fashion and general ramblings about life......welcome.
